FMCG International mounted an F1 car 35ft in the air at the head office of BAT, our brief was not to touch the walls or fix into the newly laid marble on the stair case. We had to fasten into the ceiling and floor.

After an initial consultation we designed a light weight frame that would enable the car to be situated without damaging any of the surrounding areas. Due to the positioning of the car (on the main stair case) we had to install the car over one weekend, due to the inaccessible location the car had to be taken into the building in parts. After manufacturing the car at our workshop we had to disassemble it into manageable parts and then reconstructed on the wall.

BAT wanted the staff to go away on Friday and come back after the weekend to an F1 car on the wall! As you can see from the images on the right the car looks fantastic and is a real centre piece for BAT’s head office in London, UK.
