Silverstone Classic is a fabulous 3-day weekend of ‘Flat Out Fun for all the Family’
The ‘World’s Biggest Classic Motor Racing Festival’, with around 1000 beautiful and exotic race cars competing, attracting over 1000 competitors, with over 7000 fabulous classic cars on the infield over the weekend.
An ‘Access All Areas’ policy allows the spectators close to all the action, including:-
- rock and classical music
- entertainment on a grand scale
- aerobatic displays
- a period fun fair
- and shopping
Edmund King, AA President, was delighted with this exciting new initiative. He said…
“The free driving experiences at AA World were the highlight for young and old. You can’t beat telling your school mates that you drove at Silverstone and adults loved the hot laps round Stowe. It was tremendous fun and great to be at the Silverstone Classic.
A host of motorsport personalities were on hand to participate in the ¾ F1 simulators and pit stop challenge supplied by FMCG International, including:-

- Edmund King (Chairman of AA)
- Big Chris
- Marsha from Roary the Racing Car
